Who I AM

Karen L. Wolfe, M.A., LPC, NCC, NBCDCH  holds a Masters Degree in Clinical & School Psychology.  Since 1976, she has worked in various mental health settings, such as inpatient hospital, outpatient community mental health, schools, and inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment.   She has authored a  weekly mental health  newspaper column, conducted scholarly research, and for 17 years has worked in her own private practice, The Counseling Center.  She has the honor of being  a  Fellow of the Licensed Professional Counselor's Association of Georgia,  a veteran of the Air National Guard,  a  founding  and lifetime member of the Marshall County Animal Welfare Society in Alabama,  and the recipient of more than a quarter century of teachings from her Native  American Elders. 

 Karen' approach is gentle and very respectful.     She believes in the larger dream.   She believes in endless, boundless possibilities, and works accordingly.
